Brazil vs Exeter City , St. James, Exeter. 30 May 2004

In 1911 the first international match played by Brazil was against Exeter City FC. To mark the occasion, the 1994 World Cup winning side captained by Dunga came back to Exeter to play a friendly match.

Exeter gave a warm welcome to the visitors, and apart from the many Brazilian flags and colours on display, the crowd were treated to Brazilian music, drums and a local samba troupe.
