Barefoot Open 2010

England wins for the first time on home soil

The sun shone this year for the Barefoot Open, our 5th annual UK Footvolley Championships.  Teams came from Brazil, Germany, Holland and Norway to compete with our UK boys for the title.

The final was a thrilling affair between Jimmy Greenwood & Ben Coyne from England against Douglas dos Santos and Euder Nascimento from Brazil.   It went to a deciding game, with both teams having Championships points, before Jimmy & Ben triumphed to make them the first UK Champions ever at our home event.

With free wine and foot massages from the Barefoot team, and a BBQ, music, try-out sessions & competitions for the public, it was a fantastic day.
